I am Benjamin Adedotun Abolaji, PKA Benjamin Ade, a headshot specialist and storytelling photographer with a vision to create the most iconic portraits in the world. My work is more than just photography—it’s about capturing legacy, presence, and authenticity in every frame.

My journey began in 2017 with a simple portrait session on a Samsung Galaxy S5. That moment ignited a passion that led me through years of learning, experimenting, and refining my craft. From volunteering at StarHub Church (Daystar Christian Centre’s youth church) to working with creatives, business leaders, and entertainers, I’ve built my approach on simplicity, authenticity, and compelling storytelling.

What makes my headshots different? The moment. The depth. The signature. Whether in striking black and white or vibrant color, I focus on capturing genuine expressions that tell a story—images that go beyond just looking good and instead feel powerful, real, and unforgettable.

I’ve had the honor of seeing my work make an impact, with one of my headshots being used by a Forbes Under 30 honoree and another winning Best Compelling Headshot in Model Look 2023. But this is just the beginning. My ultimate vision? For every great personality to have a headshot taken by Benjamin Ade.

This vision solidified when I walked into Safron Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos, and saw the hallways lined with portraits of legends—Fela, King Sunny Ade, Oprah, Nelson Mandela, and other iconic figures. I realized in that moment: This is what I’ll do. I will create images that stand the test of time.
